Captain Moroni

Of course I loved Captain Moroni and his cute 'minion'. It was so fun to see my boys in the reenactments. I loved the Title of Liberty.

Isn't that the cutest Nephite Warrior?
It was a miracle that I got to see it. Hayden started a migraine headache Thursday morning. He doesn't often get them, but when he does- they knock him off his feet. We gave him an Ibuprofen at camp. I had forgotten that he was acting that morning. I figured he might have to sleep it off that day. When he reminded me that he had a part that morning, I took him to the medical tent. There, they started to work on him. Ginny Wood came to talk to me. They had decided to 'up' the Ibuprofen. I suggestion a blessing. Steve and Bishop Hadlow gave him the blessing. Then Etsuko Chidester worked him over with peppermint oil.
An hour later, Hayden was playing his part. No pain. I was so glad the Heavenly father was looking after Hayden. I know he would have still gone on, but it was so nice to have him perform without the pain.

Captain Moroni was so hot! The scripts wording...not mine.Notice the cool spear Carter is holding.

Praying for Liberty.

Hoisting the Title of Liberty.

Garments cast at Moroni's feet.

Posting the Title of Liberty.
It was one of my favorite experiences.

And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it—In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children—and he fastened it upon the end of a pole.
And he fastened on his head-plate, and his breastplate, and his shields, and girded on his armor about his loins; and he took the pole, which had on the end thereof his rent coat, (and he called it the title of liberty) and he bowed himself to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should a band of Christians remain to possess the land—
For thus were all the true believers of Christ, who belonged to the church of God, called by those who did not belong to the church.
Alma 46 12-14
