Grandma and Grandpa Day
Steve had a vacation week. He spent it with the family. Monday was a Welcome Summer Party. We had sandwiches and snow cones and a water fight with the new squirt guns. Tuesday was Grandma and Grandpa Day. Our original plans were to tow the boys that live close by to the Shortline Railroad in Farmington and spend the day with the trains, but their sign is misleading. So we loaded them up in their trailers and took them on a long ride. We stopped at the Splash Park in North Salt Lake for some fun, some lunch and some very cold water. We raced home before the impending storm. The parents joined us for hamburgers. It was a fun and interesting day.
