I know this is late, it is taking me time and frustration to get on a computer that likes me and blogging. I wish I had a gorgeous picture of my mom to go along with it. My mind picture is fantastic. I am going to do a little boasting and bragging about my wonderful mom. She is so creative. I remember all the funny poems and stories she would write. I use those inspirations to write some fun things myself.
I remember sitting at her feet while she did ironing. the mist from the spray bottle as she 'sprinkled' the clothes would settle on me and then she would recite Little Orphan Annie and Seein' Things at Night to me. I never grew tired of that. I remember when the women of our house were saving our money to buy a bike. I remember the exciting day when it was finally ours. I remember that I rode it way more than my mother.
I remember all the fun vacations my mom made happen for our family. I remember her screams if we were looking over an edge any where on that vacation.
I remember all the great things she used to cook- Rice Krispie Squares, bread and rolls, Chicken Crescent Squares and my favorite White cake with Chocolate icing. She also taught me to enjoy creating edible gifts of love.
I rermember the hugs and kisses when I had hurt myself. I remember the adventures in the car. Frostop (sp?) for Taco Grandes and Tator tots. I even remember an incident where the glove compartment was the scene of mayhem with fry sauce.
My mom would drive us past boys houses so we could duck down and feel the thrill of looking at their place of residence. (I know, but it was very entertaining.)
My mother worked hard on giving me a beautiful wedding reception..and the basis for a most beautiful marriage. She has been support through the ups and downs of trying to be a wife and mother.
She makes me laugh, helps me when I need to cry and is one of my biggest supporters.
Mudders are for growing roses, giving hugs and wiping noses...
And for loving us.
I love you Mom!

My beloved wonderful daughter. I had probably read your blog just before you posted this. I pray for you to receive all the blessings that Heaven can bestow. I know Heavenly Father loves me because He gave me you. The best daughter anyone could have.
