What a Night!!

I try to be humble and in so doing, I don't let my children know how wonderful they are. So this isn't a 'proud' moment (Oh, yes it is!), but it is really a 'happy' moment. We had so much fun last night at Singing In the Rain. I loved seeing many friends. I loved being with my sweetheart. I was amazed at every moment that Hayden and his friends were on stage. It was wonderful. The students in the musical were all talented and should be proud of their efforts. My cheeks were hurting at the end of the evening from smiling. My son sang, danced and acted superbly. I knew many of the actors and they all did a great job. I also cried in Hayden's solo- Singing In The Rain and then had to admit I was crying to Kenny. He did a great job. (Hayden that is although Kenny did a good job of enjoying the show.) I have been enjoying so many blessings because of my children. I felt a touch of the Celestial kingdom with Morgan, Kenny and Colton on Saturday. I am at peace and have Lacey home now. I was blessed to be with all my grandchildren in the past few days and I really love being around their parents, Stephanie and Richard, Jeremiah and Marian and Marinda and Jamey. Carter has been working hard to improve his grades and his habits and I am so proud of him also. He is a good boy. I guess this is turning into a Mother's Day kind of thing. But I am going to look at Mother's Day different this year. It isn't a day to have homage paid to me, or honors and gifts. I am going to use it as a day of gratitude that I am allowed to be a mother and to such amazing children.

What a good attitude to go into Mother's Day with. As for the show-way to go Hayden.

The show was amazing!! I loved it!! My grand-daughter sat on my lap through the whole thing and loved every minute of it. She loved the music as I did. I have been singing "singing in the rain" all weekend.

I actually found myself crying when Hayden was up there doing his solo "singing in the rain." I was so amazed and proud of him! Thanks for letting him do the show!
