The Handy Man Can

What an interesting Christmas break. I had a child attacked by a light fixture leaving her with a bad gash on her mouth and chin. The same daughter was also called to be Relief Society President, which she will  fulfill awesomely, but still the stress! All of my grandchildren have been ill some of them requiring medical attention. One of my beautiful daughters had a little accident which in itself is traumatic, but they are also having medical bills and a baby that is not sleeping and turning into a clingy baby. They also lost their freezer in a strong wind storm. I also feel stress by trying to fulfill my callings, work my job and help with 4 aging parents. Just when I feel like we have had our share of bad luck.........along comes the Stupendous Dodgeball Fiasco. My sweet missionary son got hit the face with a Dodge ball and turned and punched the block wall with his fist.....one Urgent care facility, one emergency room and one Orthopedic surgeon later, he is now in surgery in Georgia somewhere. He is in my heart and prayers. I hope this heals quickly and that we can pay our share. Yikes!!!!

Just a title that tickled my funny bone!

I hope you read the comments. I admire you for your strength and sense of humor. I am so grateful for the example you set and the untiring love you show to the generations both before and behind you. I don't do things especially well, and that is probably why you chose to come to me and your dad... to help us make it!
