What am I talking about??? Steve attended a Wood Badge course offered by the Boy Scouts of America, in the summer of 2007. During the week long course, he learned many things about leadership and self improvement. After the course, he had to fulfil 5 goals known as tickets within 18 months of taking the course. He was part of the Bobwhite patrol. He was a little disappointed at first thinking it might be more fun to be an animal of fiercer proportions. To his great joy and happiness, his patrol was the best there. Everyone worked together so well, taking the championship of all the games played. Everyone in his patrol 'worked their tickets'. Steve worked very hard and served the troop in our ward along the way. He organized a pressurized rocket contest, help the Special Needs troop with a flag ceremony for their production, helped with The Big Event, built a state of the art 'Troop 219 Camp Kitchen (See photos) and a Deluxe Knot Board for the scouts to practice their knotty abilities. (See photos again)
He will be 'beaded' very soon. We hope during the month of March. We will post the anticipated date and times as soon as we have a firm confirmation. I am so proud of my little Boy Scout! Did you know that Superman was a Boy Scout!
