Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember. If we're only blogging friends write about a post that is most memorable.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you....either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you one back.
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him.
4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all.

And please do this on your page too, so we can all share in the fun times together:)!!

Mom, I remember being about 9 or 10 and you were angry at some guy and you said you wanted to go kick him in the crotch. I didn't know what it meant, and when you explained it to me I laughed and laughed. I remember we were at the grocery store and you would lean over to me and whisper "Crotch" in my ear and I would laugh and laugh til my sides hurt. :)
I also have memories of the two of us sitting at the chiropractors office giggling because the doctor had just asked me what grade I was in.. and I was 20!

I'm so glad you found my blog. I have always loved you since I moved into the ward. You are so full of life. But, seriously, one of the memories I have of you is a couple of years ago and Hayden was passing the Sacrament for the first time. I got teary eyed, watching you and the pride you must have been feeling as a mother. Thank you for your example-I always feel after talking to you that there is 'hope' for my parenting!

Sister Johnson! I don't know if you remember me, Jessi Barrus, but I found your blog through Shelye Goudy's blog, and I remember coming to your house with Missy and Janae and some other singing girls and having you teach us how to sing and having a good time. I remember piano/organ lessons...
And I remember my email address back then started with "gorgeous" and Brother Johnson would always say "Hi Gorgeous" at church and just made me feel so good! I miss 10th ward!

Jessi! How great to hear from you, it really made my day.. What a treat. You will need to tell me a little more about where you are and what you are up to. I am amazed at how smart the world it getting.

I remember you as a perfect child and I hope everyone gets to see this! I stand in your shadow and bask in your accomplishments. I don't really think I was good enough to deserve you, but Heavenly Father knew I needed someone I could look up to and fall far short of equaling. Love Mom

I have about a bazillion Becky (and Steve) memories. One of my favorite memories will always be your laugh. I LOVE IT!!! I love it when I make you laugh, because we have about a bazillion inside jokes. So I'm going to throw out a few one-liners that will spark a memory (and a laugh) and I'll laugh while I write and you can laugh as you read: "Who put a quarter in the baby?"; "Becky wants that card."; "Hey Kool-aid"; "Guess what? chicken butt"; "Have a nice weekend and a great Christmas"; "Cody's on the phone"; "That's my great grandson"; David Early parking lot; chocolate, chocolate concrete; Echoes; "Thank-you Becky", and the list goes on and on....

FUN! You have a blog...can I ad you to our link list? My memory of you was working at the cannery doing green beans with you and the comment you made in Relief Society about sorting shoes at the D.I. Most of all I just think you are so fun!

We have had some great times together, but the one I will treasure most was our night of terror - spiders, poop. I won't forget sneeking around the camp ground after midnight causing trouble, and seeing the dumb founded looks on the girls from the 6th ward. Good times!!!!
