It's Plane to See

A couple of weeks ago, K stopped by with boys. they were headed to the Air Force Museum. The boys asked if they could get Grammy and Popie to go with them. I am so glad they asked us. We were really busy and probably shouldn't have left our tasks, but it was a great day.
This was huge. You really have to stand under it to understand the mass.

This was C's smile...it looks like he is trying to push the plane.

The interactive displays.

The only picture I coudl get of Little T. You wouldn't believe how I had to manuever to get this one!

I have always liked these tigery planes

C in the jump seat

Watching movies...why I didn't get a picture of the donation bowl, I'll never know. I think it was the highlight of the adventure.

For the M*A*S*H fans

Still attempting the smile

There were so many unusual planes. There were even some helicopters with open bays that I really wanted to sneak into...but I was good. Thanks for the invite boys!

Spoiled Rotten...and Lovin' It

Here is where I spent girls camp......

I am such a brat, but an old and achy brat. I had a hard time sleeping on the ground. I hate having to get up, dress, get a flashlight and run to the potty in the middle of the night. My superman gave in and we are planning on camping once again. We also are planning on applying for a mission in a couple of years to the Heber Valley Girls Camp. One of the requirements is a trailer for your housing...now to get the ATV'S!

We found this 20 year old trailer that has been used about a half dozen times..everything is brand new. Now we are looking for a mammoth truck, older model, cheap but good looking. (Steve is hoping for good gas mileage, but I think that is pushing it)

The custom cabinets

Yes, that's microwave....something that I don't even have in the house right now. hahaha

Nice sound system.

Couch makes into a bed,but this is really a couples trailer.

Storage galore.

The Loo

The bedroom. Steve thinks it's too pink and I promised to put different bedding on when camping but for now, it's nice to have everything coordinated. There are treats in the fridge. Come over for a visit anytime. As soon as we get the truck....it may not be parked in the yard!

I Came, I Saw, I Conquered?

Memories of Girls Camp.
They were all terrific. The company was the very best. I hope the pictures say something grand....I am too tired to say anything grand myself. (After a good night's rest, captions were added.)
10th ward girls from Argentina in front of their fabulous curtain.

Myra visits India inside the 3rd ward's tent.

Steve with one of his cronies that happens to be the 9th ward's YW president. They hailed from Italy.

Another of Steve's cronies, 6th ward's camp director from Ghana.

ME perormed a Japanese Fan Dance for cultural night.

Argentina girls performed a dance also. They made their own skirts with old sheets and dye.

Great Britain had choreographed bit of merry old England and all it has given the world...guess what this is?

Our favorite spot. We were joined one fabulous afternoon, by Myra, Steve and Pres. McReynolds.

Steve found a willing victim for a game of horseshoes.

We were from Tanzania. Some asked if they had curtain rings there.

Superman proved super once agian. He did everything he was asked (including wearing the nose ring) and then some. It was a treat for me to have him there all week.

No one would sit in the sun, so I grabbed my beach umbrella. We had a prime spot for the show. I am pretty sure this was my last girl's camp. It was a great week.
